Hey-o! I am a stay at home momma to some real cute kiddos and wife to a studly bearded man since 2014. I graduated from Colorado Christian University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in theology. I, also, graduated Cook Street School of Culinary Arts in 2015. I’m all about living and loving well with the days we’re given.

My name's Josette, and I'm a self-titled "water woman." (And dog-mom enthusiast.) My main man is a 9-year old Lab/Great Dane who's accompanied me from Colorado to Alaska, to Maine, and back to Colorado in my '95 Tacoma. (We like to roadtrip.) I'm the oldest of four kids, and the daughter of a firefighter and a gardener who both taught me how to love Jesus. As an English and Outdoor Leadership major, I fell in love with words and rivers. Now a freelance writer and recipe editor by day, I love nothing more than floating along on my raft with friends (and snacks) whenever I can. Did I mention I love snacks?
